The Memphis Urban League and JustMyMemphis have teamed up to provide full coverage of the upcoming election, our mission is to empower our community and foster an active and informed citizenry. With the Fall 2023 Elections on the horizon, we’re excited to announce our partnership on a unique and crucial initiative: a comprehensive Voter Education Guide.

In our democracy, the power of the vote is unmatched – it allows the voice of every citizen to be heard. However, to make that vote truly count, it’s essential that our citizens are well-informed about their choices. This is why we have taken on this mission to make accurate and unbiased information accessible to all.

The aim of our Voter Education Guide is simple: to help voters get to know the individuals seeking to serve their communities. We believe that our responsibility goes beyond merely encouraging individuals to vote; we seek to ensure that when they do, their decision is informed, their choices understood, and their voices effectively heard.

We wish to stress that our initiative is a non-partisan one. We do not endorse any candidate. Instead, we extend an open invitation to all candidates to join us and share their views, vision, and plans for our community. Participation is absolutely free – all candidates are welcomed and encouraged to utilize this platform.

While we do offer paid support tools, candidates are under no obligation to use them. Our primary goal remains to foster a robust democratic process where voters are empowered with knowledge, and candidates have an equal opportunity to communicate their platforms.
