Rest Well Tyre – You Will Be RememberedThe Memphis Urban League extends our sincerest and heartfelt condolences to the family of Tyre Nichols. As our community continues to grieve, and yet still grapple with the devastation after viewing the horrific video, we will be in continual support of peace and comfort for the Nichols/Wells family.
Although we’ve united in tragedy, we will continue to pray for peace and for the family of Tyre Nichols as his memories are shared and his body is laid to rest.
Tyre’s homegoing service and celebratory testament of his life shall forever be etched into our hearts as we carry the torch for justice in our community. The work for justice from his sacrifice begins.
We praise God for unity and continue to pray for peace.
